The most popular custom carpets for public areas includes Axminster, Wilton, Face to Face carpets and high end hand tufted rugs. Alarwool´s carpets are manufactured with virgin wools. 100% wool or 80% wool and 20% nylon blend.
You can select the colors for your carpet from our 600 color poms book, if you do not find the color that you want in our color pom book we will custom dye our yarn to your color specifications offering you infinite number of color possibilities . Just give us a color that you want to match from a piece of fabric, paper, a piece of carpet or even a piece of wood and we will custom dye the color for you.
Our looms are equipped with electronic jacquard computers that enable us to manufacture very large designs as one piece, infield, border and outfield woven together reducing the number of seams, the amount of carpet wastage in you carpet and reducing the installation cost
We are able to manufacture your carpet with any design concept and up to twelve colors. These looms can produce designs up to 30 meters long and 13.1 feet wide and always woven together infield outfield and border on the same roll, maximizing the use of the carpet.
Axminster
 Axminster carpets offers a wide range of design and color combinations. Alarwool uses the latest electronic jacquard looms to manufacture its carpets. The Axminster looms have a built in computerized electronic jacquard which interfaces directly with the loom.
This enables us to create large carpet patterns and to manufacture outfields, borders and infields in a continuous pattern. This will reduce the amount of seams, and your on-site installation costs.
These looms can produce designs up to 30 meters (99 feet) long and 4 meters (13.1 feet) wide.
How does an Axminster loom work?
In an axminster weave, cut tufts of yarn are inserted at the point of weaving by means of grippers. For each tuft to be inserted along the width of the carpet, there is a corresponding metal "gripper" which rises from the bed of the loom to "grip" the appropriate colored end of yarn from the vertical yarn carrier. 
At that point a knife blade slices the tuft to the proper length. The gripper then returns to the bed of the loom, places the tuft in the appropriate position and the weft shoots the backing yarns and binds it into place. A beater bar pushes each row of tufts and weft shoots tightly against one another to to give the structure to the carpet.

 Wilton
Wilton carpet is when the pile threads run continuously into the carpet and are raised above the surface of the integral backing by means of wires or hooks. In a carpet with more than one color; unused yarn stays in the back
All the our Wilton carpets can be custom made to your specifications, colors, and designs. We also can manufacture corridors with borders and infield woven together like Axminster carpets.
Wilton carpets can be woven with cut pile, loop-pile, or cut and loop pile. Pile heights can be varied within a single carpet to created a "structural" or carved effect.
Face to Face
Face to face looms produce woven carpet, which is very durable and dimensionally stable.These carpets do not suffer from the delamination and stability weakness often associated with tufted carpets.
Face to face carpets are very popular in numerous hotel chains because of the high quality and affordable price. Face to face looms manufacture carpets twice as fast as a regular axminster looms and can have almost twice as much density of rows and pitch, allowing the carpet design to be crispier and more detail oriented.
 How does a face to face loom work?
In the Face to Face carpet looms two backings are lined up face-to-face and a double needle goes through the backings creating two carpet rolls at the same time. (in the picture you can see two rolls of carpet woven simultaneously) At the end of the weaving process, these "Siamese Twins" are separated into two different rolls.
These carpets can be woven with a high definition of rows but are limited to a symmetrical design. Since we can manufacture two rolls of carpet at the same time we obtain double the production on these looms in comparison to any other woven axminster or wilton loom.
For this reason the cost of Face to face carpet is much lower in price than an any other woven carpet.
Hand Tufted
Alarwool rugs offers great freedom of expression in design and colors. Even single-color carpets can be creatively textured by varying yarn thickness. All our hand tufted rugs are custom made to meet our clients specifications in design, colors and quality. There are several variations of the hand tufted rug; cut pile, cut and loop pile combination, or random tip sheered loop pile.
